A white marble obelisk with inscriptions on east and west sides and a brass, five-pointed star on the east face, dedicated by the T.H. Dodd Post of the Grand Army of the Republic in memory of 'Civil War Veterans'. The obelisk is located on the north side of Golden Cemetery at the SW corner of Trapper and Frontier Streets.

Inscription:

The east side of the obelisk is engraved with the words, "T.H. Dodd Post No. 3. In memory of Civil War Veterans 1861 - 1865." The west side of the obelisk is engraved with the words, "Dedicated May 30, 1931." A five-pointed brass star on the east side of the obelisk is engraved with a relief of three soldiers and two children and the words, "Grand Army of the Republic 1861 Veterans 1865."
